- Cyrtostachys renda, commonly called lipstick palm or sealing wax palm, is a tropical palm that is native to swampy rain forest areas of the Malaysian peninsula, Indonesia and Borneo. It is perhaps best known for its glossy scarlet red crown shafts and leaf stalks which bring stunning accent and contrast to landscapes or indoor areas.
- Common names are in reference to the red coloration. In the wild, this palm will grow to 12-15’ tall. Pinnate leaves to 4-5’ long are deep green above and gray-green underneath. Small greenish white flowers in panicles bloom in summer.

Love Covergirl Lipstick, Just Not This Color

10 stars for Covergirl being cruelty free! Good quality and it stays on until I wipe it off, even after I brush my teeth and go to bed, it is still on! Love the lip gloss that keeps it from feeling dry. I usually buy a different shade but wanted to try a new one. It is always hard to judge a color from a photo, but this one is not the same, which is why I removed 1 star. I know it is a "neutral shade: but it is actually too neutral and barley looks like it is on. In the photos it has a pretty peach color, but it is only a shade or two above having bare lips. If I just wanted a lip gloss, I would buy that and having almost no color is a waste of money for lipstick. Will absolutely still buy this brand again, just in a different color.
